Kristianopel - Saturday 28th

We had a challenging cold, upwind and against water sail here.  It started with tricky navigation through the rocks, often motoring in little wind, so emerging into strong wind and a lumpy sea was a shock. The short steep Baltic waves caused total disarray in the fore-cabin.  So we were glad to reach Kristianople where we found an empty harbour which we later discovered is often full as this is a a very popular beauty spot.  The peninsula it's on was once a fortified Danish border fort. There were many swifts screaming and swooping over the boat in the wind.

All alone in the harbour.  A rare event apparently
